Commencement impressions: All-time App for viewing NAS photos
I've got millions of photos on a NAS. When using Files, or the manufacturer-supplied App for viewing photos on at that place from my iPad is simply painfully ho-hum.
Using this File Manager suddenly makes the experience easy. It's piece of cake to find the NAS shares, sort the folders in multiple ways, and and then switch between a list and a gallery, but the key factor is that thumbnail generation is really quick, and it doesn't seem to paralyse performance on the iPad whilst doing it.
There'due south a "pro" mode you lot tin upgrade to, but the Free version seems to accept everything that you absolutely need and it'southward non too naggy about upgrading, like many other apps.
Practiced features, seems reliable
This provides a great style to save photos etc from my telephone directly onto the USB storage built into my home internet router (a FritzBox ), from where we tin access them from other laptops etc.
To practise the file transfer is not as intuitive as it could be: due east.g rather than using the usual iOS 'Share/Forwards' icon when viewing a photo, you take to go into the Atomic number 26 app, look in the Browse area and cull the 'Edit' pick.
Please note that the free version only permits access to i network share, but that is fine for many people's needs:)
Smashing for accessing external drives
Really annoying having an iPhone which the salespeople at O2 could my assist me with. Plant this app recommended subsequently Googling a few times and it totally works. I am not a huge fan of iCloud usage and don't desire to buy storage all the time and go along all my albums that way and so this is perfect for keeping a few albums I can easily change through our WiFi.
